Key points about Minerva Green
Minerva Green started operations in 2019 after acquiring 74ha of prime land in Byrne valley, just outside Richmond in the heart of the Kwa-Zulu Natal’s (KZN) hemp/cannabis belt. We have a Hemp growing license and the necessary research permits. We were of the first research permits issued by SAPHRA, and the newer Hemp focused permits through DALLRD are being extended to commercial and co-operative versions, we are in the process of upgrading the licenses in order to extend our research abilities across the hemp/cannabis sectors.
Our Mission is to correct the misconceptions about hemp and Cannabis and to provide extensive education on farming in an organic and community development manner.
Our Goal is to develop a hub that not only facilitates a holistic learning Experience and Empowers out-growers and community producers through organic farming practices to create vibrant businesses, but also to develop unique processing centers of excellence to facilitate all aspects of Hemp processing, invigorating the value chain across the full spectrum of usage scenarios.
